This is a post from Bob Hyatt’s blog, Pastor of Evergreen Community. The post is specific to Evergreens situation, but, it really hits some of “Missional Church” meanings on the head. This has been on my mind since a gentleman from another church visited Ethnos recently and said “This is a Missional Christian Cummunity right? I’m wanting to see what that means and influance my church to be more missional”. That’s great! Then I started thinking about how we’re missional. I explained to him how the first way be missional is to simply, know your neighbors . Be involved in the community around you and do it as a follower of Christ. As Bob’s article addresses some of these topics, I hope it will be encouraging and motivating to think through how we are all missional or how we might be more missional in our daily lives.
